Varsity and JV volleyball wrap up De Anza titles!
The Varsity and JV girls volleyball teams had an exciting night last Thursday as they both defeated Los Gatos to win solo De Anza titles.
Jekara Wilson's JV squad won in 3 tough games, even without standout outside hitter, Savannah Owens (sidelined with an illness). The victory puts the JV at 11-0 going into this week's match vs. Saratoga with a perfect league season on the line.
The Varsity also had a tough test, and required a dramatic come from 2 sets behind to win in 5 victory to seal the De Anza title... the program's 4th in a row! Writeups can be found at:

Varsity volleyball also won Spikefest 2 over the weekend (their 3rd tourney title of the season, with prior victories at Harbor and the Menlo Invitational), and their record now stands at 32-3 (winning their last 30 in a row!)
Come cheer on the Vikings for senior night, this Thursday. JV at 5:30pm, Varsity at 6:45pm. We will be honoring seniors Marissa Florant, Cassie Prioleau and Kristen Dauler before the match.
